- A dos semanas del Oscar, la carrera ha quedado en suspenso, la cinta de Linklater ha triunfado con los críticos, la prensa extranjera y ahora la academia británica. Sin el apoyo de los sindicatos la tiene muy difícil, pero le agrega emoción.
- Moore, Arquette y Simmons completan la carrera perfecta, sólo les falta el Oscar para confirmarla; mientras Redmayne ya es el absoluto favorito, sólo perdió el premio de los críticos ante Keaton que ya se despide del Oscar.
- The Grand Budapest Hotel es la que más premios se lleva, incluyendo el de guión que al parecer tiene posibilidades de repetirse en el Oscar. Mientras que The Theory of Everything demuestra ser la británica del año.
- De nuevo gana The Lego Movie, no le impide arrasar a pesar de que no ganará el Oscar.
